Work I've founded or co-lead that is reimagining power and leadership.
Irise International
I was founding CEO of the award-winning charity Irise International for nearly a decade, including 3 years in East Africa working with colleagues to establish a sister organisation, Irise Institute East Africa. Together we built the global movement for Menstrual Justice For All.

By the time I handed over to a new CEO, the organisation had directly supported over 100,000 young people, helped 287 organisations around the world address menstrual justice in their work, and directly shaped national policy in two countries. Periods were no longer invisible but firmly on the policy agenda. In recognition of this achievement, Irise received the Power Together Award from the Global Women Political Leaders Forum and was named in a global report as one of the eight most effective organisations tackling this issue in the world. I was personally shortlisted for the DEFY award, recognising disruptive global leaders under 35.
